Goa Records presents a Pale Blue Dot, the debut release from Tlamanik with three full power tracks made for dancefloor driving through the night through deep space exploratory mind frequency sets tuned for shifting into higher and further dimensions of sound and space time. Born in 1988, Mexico City. Graphic Designer and digital animation artist. Also musician and audio/video editor. First started playing guitar for Metal bands. In 2008 I started as DJ playing Psytrance, full on and Progressive. At the same time started to learn how to produce Music. My first project was called “Kasus”, a full - on project. Also made another project named “K.U.” with a friend, Sinhue Navarrete a.k.a. “Ultrajett” with tunes of melodic and off beat progressive trance. Tlamanik. Its neologism. Has its roots from the “Nahuatl”, a local pre-hispanic language. The actual word does not exist, but it’s a mixture of some words and resemble the term mother earth or Mother Nature. This concept is transposed to the sounds found in the tracks, sounds and atmospheres that take you in a deep time-space travel. This project tries to achieve the importance of the understanding of a deeper connection with all beings in the cosmos, also to release the ephemeral that we are compared to universe greatness. We can find a variety of sounds, not just from digital instruments but also with diverse uncommon instruments from around the globe.
