We are pleased to inform you that we are about to launch a brand new collosus of collaborative project on Parvati Records! OBELISK is a trio consisting of ECTOGASMICS, and DARKSHIRE/MAKUMBA. After plenty productive experiments, many laughs and flat out crazyness they naturally formed a single mind-set. The aim with these first 4 tunes is to to project their internal humor and debates, secret vape stories, and most nutty nostalgia of movies and music, as well as utterly marvelous and mysterious phenomenons of mind and nature. The keystones of style are: uncompromised production, intense dreadlock-driven rhythms, a bio-mechanical structure of synthesized fully flouro loco leads, embedded in a thick and wide woven carpet of organic soundscapes plus plenty of analog vintage surprises. We are pleased to kick in the new year with this EP, a mark called The Fingerprint, we hope it will leave a trace!
